I’m a Taiwanese graphic designer and artist based in New York City.
As a designer, I seek to find the undiscovered marvel in disorganization.
Through brand identities, typographic systems, and concept-driven projects, I question what has become normalized or neglected in our culture, and use design to propose new ways of seeing.
While design often helps us communicate what’s visible, I’m interested in how it can also point to what lies outside the frame.
I recently graduated with an MFA in Graphic Design from the Rhode Island School of Design, where I also taught a course, and I hold a BFA from the School of Visual Arts. My thesis,
Lingering Loading, is a book that investigates how graphic design can resist clarity and seamlessness in a culture of acceleration.
If any of my work brings a possibility to mind, please don’t hesitate to reach out. I’d be happy to collaborate—or simply chat about design with you.
